John Emphasizes Believers Share Much In Common
When called by Jesus, John immediately left behind his father’s business in order to follow Him. John was not only part of the core 12 disciples, but he was part of the three disciples, along with Peter and James, who had the chance to accompany Jesus during the most intimate moments in His ministry.
While John the apostle was definitely a favored disciple, he learned that he was part of a community. Reading the first epistle he wrote, one quickly gets the impression that John understood his role as a pastor to involve the whole community in the body of Christ.
This Sunday we will look into the areas where believers share in certain things in common. It would be very helpful if the attendees come prepared by reading the First Epistle of John.

I thank you for downloading last Sunday’s sermon so soon. But I think you mixed up the topics. The sermon by Pastor Daniel Albarian on 5/2/10 was about apostle John and the topic was
“We share much in common”
But the topic of last Sunday’s sermon by Pastor Asatur Nahapetian was “Do no rejoice over me, o my enemy”
We’ll take a look at it, thank you!
