Promises are made to keep: The Life of Peter
How many times have you promised and not kept your promise? I dare not ask myself that question! Simon Peter is one dicsiple who promised more than he delivered. But Jesus was not shocked, He patiently taught Simon Peter to keep his promises. People make promises without thinking about delivering them. Peter is no different. How many times do we see him making a promise and not keeping it?
Jesus teaches him to keep his promises by coming to his side with him and questioning his Heart and his determination. What does it take to keep a promise? We will look into that question and find answers from Peter’s Letters. Come expecting to find answers!

I’ll come this Sunday to learn how to keep my promise.
I promise!!!
I kept my promise and came to church today and listened same sermon in Armenian and in English. I learned two things – first I cannot cross your fingers behind me and promise something, because God is all around me and inside me also. He confronted Peter when he promised that he will never deny the Lord. Second, I learned that God will help me to keep my promise. Because it’s written in Phlp.4:13 “ l can do all things through Him who strengthens me.”
