The COA church held its annual meeting on January 26, 2025.
We presented the goals for the congregation for this year:
1. To help the congregation grow in faith,
2. To help the leaders of different ministries grow in their fields,
3. To train and grow the future leaders for the church.
Our church believes in equipping the saints to be fruitful men and women of God. A very important and exciting opportunity awaits men who are leaders or wish to serve God as leaders in our church! Soon, the church will start offering a training program on Biblical Eldership and Deaconship.
Our verse of the year is 2 Peter 3:18,
“But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ”
Each ministry presented its report of the work they have been doing.
We also presented the financial report for last year and the church budget was approved for this year.
David Kachatrian and Daniel Scorza will be taking a one-year break from their service as elders. An appreciation plaque was given to Manan Mardoyan (secretary) and Hambardzum Kirakosyan (visitation pastor) for their many years of service in the church.
The plaque was engraved with the following verse: 1Thes. 1:3,
“Remembering before our God and Father your work of faith and labor of love and steadfastness of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ.”
A prayer of appreciation was made on their behalf.
