Children’s Ministry

Purpose & Philosophy

As a part of the COA Church, the Children’s Ministry is guided by the belief in the one living God, who is embodied through the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Our theological principles are rooted in Scripture, with the aim of drawing children and their families closer to Christ and imparting them with a deep understanding of the Bible. Our team is dedicated to equipping children for their lifelong journey with Christ, empowering them to navigate the challenges of the world based on the teachings of Proverbs 22:6,

“Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.”

Goals

The ultimate goal of the COA Church Children’s Ministry is to educate children through the Word of God, evangelize, and foster their spiritual growth from ages 3 to 13.

“All your children shall be taught by the Lord, and great shall be the peace of your children.” Isaiah 54:13.

Our Accomplishments

The COA Church Children’s Ministry has achieved the following milestones:

• Sunday School: We have successfully engaged 40 kids in our enriching Sunday School program, providing them with a solid foundation in Christian teachings.
• Monthly Science Class: To enhance their curiosity and understanding of the world around them, we offer an engaging science class once a month, where children can explore various scientific concepts from a biblical perspective.
• Monthly Painting Class: Our monthly painting class allows children to express their creativity while learning about biblical themes and stories through art.
• Summer Vacation Bible School (VBS): Each summer, we organize a vibrant VBS program that offers children a fun-filled week of games, crafts, science, music, and teachings centered on biblical principles.
• Children’s Choir: Through our children’s choir, we provide opportunities for children to develop their musical talents and worship God through joyful singing and praise.

Yearly Occasional Activities 

In addition to our regular programs, we organize yearly occasional activities to foster a sense of community and enjoyment among the children. These activities include thrilling water slide adventures, delightful train rides, engaging visits to petting zoos, and exhilarating foam parties.
